Have your electricians and plumbers follow up their first visit with a final visit to install electric wires, plumbing pipes and communication lines into the interiors of the new walls. This step requires use of special equipment to anchor the footings.

Build the framing for the structure and attach this frame to the foundation of the warehouse. Purchase building items to begin office construction. Complete sets include ventilation plans, any electric and plumbing systems, walls and foundation diagrams and exact specifications for materials used for all components. Take your complete set of architectural blueprints to your local or county building department to obtain a construction permit. Hire an architect to turn your interior office design sketched on your graph paper into a working blueprint.

Re-evaluate your overall design with the office equipment in place. Note the dimensions for required office desks, file cabinets and equipment and position these items by using another color pencil to insert the items on the graph paper. If you decide to construct the office on the ground floor of the warehouse you are potentially eating up valuable warehouse space.
